Date: 2006-09-12 08:55 pm (UTC)Another thing might be to make the letter pretty businesslike, but, if you have to include a picture, make it sort of fun - fun, like "wearing a silly hat." I think the idea is to distinguish yourself by pointing out how you're fun and relate to kids, while not crossing the line into someone who would say/wear/do anything inappropriate, or look like someone who doesn't take the job seriously.

If you're looking for a household that would mesh with your personality and have the luxury to do so, then let your own personality shine through in your letter.
