I just stumbled over a rec for my fic! *looks at own feet* Nope, still on the ground, but I feel like I'm floooating. Yes. All right. I'll calm down soon enough.

Also, I've finally watched the Nothing special that's been sitting on the harddrive for ages and it features David Hewlett smoking a fag and holy fuck. Why is that so hot? Slowly exhaling carcinogenic, languidly curling smoke shouldn't be attractive, damn it.

Ahhh... yes, the incomprehensible hotness that seems to surround DH - I shouldn't find him hot when he's smoking, but he is ... I shouldn't find him hot with the facial hair that he has in Traders, but he is ... He certainly shouldn't be hot when he's a convicted paedophile in The District, but I even find him hot then! *is beyond help*

I just read it - it was really great - definitely worthy of the rec ... it was beautifully written, and seemed very 'real' to the characters ... but it was just so heart-breaking ... excuse me whilst I go have a little cry!
